ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google’s AI Overviews draw on pages that answer a specific question clearly, from a source they can verify. To show up: publish pages that give the answer in the first lines, keep your company details identical everywhere (name, city, services), and let these tools’ crawlers read your site.
People ask AI tools full questions, such as “what is the best way to sell online in Morocco without card payments?”. The page that answers in two sentences, then explains with examples, is the one that gets quoted. This page is built that way.
Structured data (schema.org Organization, FAQPage, Article) that states who you are and what you offer. An llms.txt file that summarises your site for language models. A robots.txt that does not block GPTBot, PerplexityBot or ClaudeBot. And the same facts on your site, your Google profile and business directories.
Models favour facts that can be checked: an address, live work, reviews that really exist. Inflated numbers or invented testimonials eventually work against you. A few precise pages, kept up to date, beat dozens of vague ones.
Ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini the questions your customers really ask, such as “which estate agency in Tangier?” or “how do I open an online store in Morocco?”, and note which sources come up. Repeat it every month, because answers change. If you are not mentioned, read the pages that are: they usually answer more clearly. Start there, and update the date on a page whenever you change its content.
